• Moxifloxacin/Ciprofloxacin: 1 gtt TID x 7–10 days
      Indication: Bacterial conjunctivitis, any condition where corneal epithelium is disrupted (ex. post-op after cataract surgery)

    • Azithromycin PO: 10 mg/kg QD (Usually 250-500mg PO QD)
      Indication: Various bacterial infections

    • Acyclovir: 400–800 mg PO 5x/day x 10 days
      Indication: Herpes simplex virus infections

    • Valacyclovir: 1 g PO TID
      Indication: Herpes zoster and genital herpes

    • Doxycycline: 50–100 mg PO BID x 2 months
      Indication: Chlamydia, acne, and other infections, MGD (lower dose)

    • Bactrim: 1 tab DS PO BID x 10 days
      Indication: Bacterial infections such as internal hordeolum, dacryocystitis, preseptal cellulitis (usually started after non-resolution with initial antibiotics)

    • Prednisone: 25–100 mg PO QD x 10 days then taper
      Indication: Inflammatory conditions 

    • Prednisolone Acetate 1%: 1 gtt q1h then taper
      Indication: Ocular inflammation such as anterior uveitis 

    • Lotemax (Loteprednol): 1 gtt QID
      Indication: Inflammatory ocular conditions

    • Difluprednate 0.05% (Durezol): 1 gtt QID x 7 days then taper
      Indication: inflammatory ocular conditions or post procedure

    • Latanoprost 0.005%: 1 gtt qHS
      Indication: Glaucoma

    • Timolol 0.5%: 1 gtt BID
      Indication: Glaucoma

    • Dorzolamide 2%: 1 gtt BID
      Indication: Glaucoma

    • Brimonidine 0.2%: 1 gtt BID

        Indication: Glaucoma
